About EEW...

Longitudinal Double Submerged Arc Welded Pipe
AMT provides longitudinally submerged-arc welded (LSAW) carbon, alloy and stainless steel pipes for critical service in power stations which use coal, natural gas or nuclear fuel. The pipes are produced by EEW plants located in Germany, South Korea, or Malaysia and range from 304.8 to 3810-mm (12 to 150-inches) in diameter with individual lengths to 13.2-meters (42.7-feet). These high quality pipes are also supplied to petrochemical plants, oil refineries, LNG transportation & storage facilities and for oil and gas exploration, both onshore and offshore. Pipes for sour gas service and high strength grades up to X100 are routinely produced.

EEW Group
EEW Group began its activities in Erndtebrück, Germany and now has additional plants in Korea, Brazil, Germany (Rostock) and Malaysia. The Group has continually developed and today, no other SAW pipe manufacturer can offer as complete a product range. We serve the Process Plant, Offshore, Electric Power and Steel Construction Industries. With continuous investment in our worldwide manufacturing facilities we are able to offer clients the widest range of grades and sizes of SAW pipe. Fabrications for oil and gas projects, such as Legs, bracings and sleeves, for modular assembly can be provided, should the client's construction plan benefit from these engineered products. All of EEW plants are ISO 9001 accredited and many other important certificates are held, such as API Licenses 5L, 5LD and 5LC, ISO 14001 Certificates for Environmental Management and ASME Certificates S, U and U2.

The combined production capacity of the EEW plants in Germany and Korea is 400,000 metric tons of LSAW pipes per year. The major part is special carbon, alloy and stainless steels such as grades falling under ASTM Specification A672 for high pressure applications at moderate temperatures and ASTM A691 for high pressure applications at high temperatures. Pipes according to API Specification 5L, Grades X52 through X100 are often produced. ASTM and EN specification of ferritic, austenitic and duplex stainless steels are quite normal for our stainless pipe production line. All of our plants through all aspects of Manufacturing and Quality Assurance, regardless of location, are under the control of software and hardware developed and improved over many years in Germany. This seamless application of modern techniques results in on-time delivery of goods, made according to requirements and the building of long term successful relationships between Customers and EEW.
